Parker Orthodontics' Mouthguard Day featured on Fox Channel 31!

 

You might remember us discussing the need to wear a mouthguard two weeks ago, but last Thursday, Fox Channel 31 came out to our office to do a story on our Mouthguard Day. In conjunction with Elizabeth Family Dental, Dr. Collins and our staff provided close to 150 custom mouthguards!

This is our 4th year that we have provided free custom mouthguards for the Elbert County School sports teams. Only by using a mouthguard can kids with and without braces avoid serious sports injuries on the field. Not only do they protect your mouth and appliances, but they give you and your parents peace of mind when you're on the field this fall!

With summer officially here for another seven weeks, Dr. Parker and our staff would like to take this time to remind our young athletes in orthodontic treatment to take care of both your mouth and appliances while participating in contact sports (and non-contact sports) this summer. Remember, only by using a mouth guard can kids with and without braces avoid serious sports injuries on the field. The next time you're in for a visit at Parker Orthodontics, be sure to ask us for a mouth guard, and we will provide one for you!
